Nigerian musician, Reekado Banks has welcomed his first child, a baby boy, on a day filled with bittersweet emotions.
The singer shared that the birth of his baby coincided with the anniversary of his mother’s passing two years ago.
Reekado Banks, making the announcement on his Instagram expressed his feelings saying “Two years ago we said our goodbyes, but I see you never left. How’s it two years after, I’m leaving the hospital, thankful for the joy and blessing of fatherhood?”
He also paid tribute to his partner, expressing deep appreciation for her strength throughout the pregnancy.
“Nothing but deep appreciation to my woman for 10 months of absolute show of grit and strength. Love, love, love you forever,” he wrote.
The proud new father shared heartwarming photos of himself joyfully strolling with his newborn son, leaving the hospital alongside his partner.
