A member of the communications team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed, has painted a gloomy picture about Ghana.
According to him, “we are not in normal times by all standards.”
Condemning the recent shooting of five policemen between July 30 and August 29, 2019 and with particular reference to the Kasoa shooting incident which took place on Wednesday, the NDC communications team member urged the security agencies to intervene to help halt the increasing rate of crime in the country.
He expressed his condolence to the bereaved families.
He also urged the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who is the Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who is the Chairman of the Police Council to act urgently to stem the tide.
“I want to ask the Chairman of the Police Council, His Excellency the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia what he is doing about the police killings since he is busily replying Mahama’s comments?” He stated on Kokrokoo on Peace FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.
