President John Dramani Mahama has appointed North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, as the Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
Mr Mahama’s latest appointment also features Dr Edward Omane Boamah, who will head the Ministry of Defence; Juaboso MP Kwabena Mintah Akandoh for Health; Ellembelle MP Kofi Armah Buah for the Ministry for Lands and Natural Resources.
Asawase MP Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak has also been appointed Interior Minister-designate, with Ningo Prampram MP Sam Nartey George set to serve at the Ministry for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation.
Abura Asebu Kwamankese MP, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has also been appointed Minister of State, Government Communications.
A statement issued by the Presidency on January 21 highlighted that these appointments are a testament to the President’s commitment to effective leadership and a responsive administration.
