The mother of Brittany Boateng, a 29-year-old Ghanaian-American who tragically lost her life earlier this year, has finally spoken out about her daughter’s untimely death.
Brittany died on February 23, 2024, after allegedly being pushed into the path of an oncoming vehicle by her boyfriend, Quincy, during an argument.
The vehicle struck Brittany, killing her instantly, according to police reports.
Several months after this tragic incident, Eno Manu Adade, Brittany’s mother, shared her painful experience and the final moments she had with her daughter.
In a TikTok post, Eno Manu Adade revealed that on the night of February 22, while working a night shift, she received a message from Brittany around 11:30 p.m., expressing her love.
Eno responded with love, urging her daughter to return home soon to rest before work the next day.
“I’ll call you in the morning once I get home,” she recalled telling Brittany.
The next morning, after returning from her shift, Eno began receiving calls from her husband in Ghana and other unfamiliar numbers.
Her husband informed her that Brittany was involved in a police case, abs urged her to contact his brother for more details. Desperate to find out what had happened, Eno called Brittany’s friend, who had been with her the previous night.
The friend mentioned that Brittany had a fight with Quincy and had sent Eno a video, adding that she believed Brittany was still asleep.
Despite her attempts to reach Brittany, Eno received a call from the police, who introduced themselves and asked a series of questions about her daughter, including her birthdate and any distinctive marks.
Eno found the questions unsettling. Eventually, the officers informed her that Brittany had been in an accident the previous night and, tragically, did not survive.
Following the incident, Quincy was arrested by the Chicago police.
