Medeama SC owner, Mr. Moses Parker, has expressed his displeasure at the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association to order a replay of the disputed match between them and Elmina Sharks.
The DC ruled yesterday that the match day 8 fixture between Elmina Sharks and Medeama SC be replayed at the Cape Coast stadium after referee Nuhu Limann was assaulted leading to an abrupt end of the game.
But Mr. Parker is questioning the decision to change the venue if nothing happened at the original venue – Nduom stadium.
He further explains that the decision is unheard of, saying his side deserves all three points.
“The decision by the disciplinary committee is wrong; Medeama SC deserves all three points. I was at the stadium and saw all that happened. We will appeal this decision”, Parker fumed.
The angry club owner, on Asempa FM, threatened to withdraw his resources from the game and quit football if the Executive Committee of the Football Association does not intervene to rescind the decision.
Medeama SC will honour their match day 14 against Wa all Stars at the T n A park after losing 2-1 to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park during the midweek fixtures.
