On the first anniversary of the death of Nigerian singer MohBad, his wife shared an emotional tribute, reflecting on the loss of her husband and the father of their son, Liam.

In her heartfelt message, Wunmi expressed the deep sorrow and pain she has endured since his passing, describing how difficult it has been to survive without him.

“It’s been a year today—a year since you left me and our Liam in this cold world. It’s been so hard. I miss you so much. Liam misses you too,” she wrote.

She spoke about how she wished MohBad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba, could see their son, Liam, and what an incredible father he would have been.

Wunmi described the agony of losing him, saying his death brought unbearable pain, but it also taught her valuable lessons about life.

Even though a year has passed, she admitted that the pain still feels fresh, as if she’s stuck in a nightmare she cannot wake up from.

Despite the sorrow, MohBad’s wife chose to celebrate his life and legacy on this somber anniversary.

She promised to keep his memory alive, especially through their son, who, she said, carries pieces of him—his kindness, smile, and spirit.
