West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus has acknowledged the high intensity of playing in the Premier League.
The Ghanaian international made the switch to England in 2023, signing a five-year contract with West Ham, with an option for an additional year, in a £38 million transfer from Ajax.
Kudus made an immediate impact in his debut season, netting 14 goals across all competitions as the Hammers secured a top-half league finish and advanced to the Europa League quarter-finals.
However, in the current campaign, the 24-year-old has found the net just three times in the Premier League.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the former FC Nordsjaelland star admitted the demands of English football are relentless.
“The Premier League is a very intense league,” he said.
“There’s lots of running and you need strength. You also need to be technical, and I believe I have all those attributes,” he added.
Kudus played in West Ham’s 1-1 draw against Aston Villa on Sunday. The Hammers will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge next Monday.
