Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has praised Mohammed Kudus for his standout performance during West Ham’s match against Chelsea.
Despite West Ham’s 3-0 home defeat to the two-time Champions League winners on Saturday, the Ghana international impressed with his display.
Chelsea’s victory came courtesy of goals from Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer, marking their second consecutive win.
Speaking about the 23-year-old Kudus, Maresca, in an interview with TNT Sports, highlighted the midfielder’s abilities, noting, “West Ham have some quality players like Lucas Paquetá, but Mohammed Kudus is a brilliant footballer.”
Kudus, a former player for Ajax and FC Nordsjaelland, is now looking to score his first goal of the season as West Ham prepare to face Brentford in their next fixture.
The match at the Gtech Community Stadium is set for a 14:00 GMT kickoff.
