Popular actress, Auntie ‘B’ says some current acts in the movie industry have no respect for their older colleagus in the fraternity.
She made the assertion at the final funeral rites of veteran actor and comedian, Asonaba Kweku Darko, popularly known as Super OD at Agona-Abodom in the Central Region.

The actress who said she has great reverence for veteran actors and actresses like the late Super OD, Osofo Dadzie and Maame Dokono, says it is difficult to understand why current crop of movie actors are failing to acknowledge the efforts of pacesetters in the industry.
She gave the example of how some actors and actresses who were at the funeral failed to give their seats to their aged colleagues as a show of their reverence for them.

“Now, some of the producers don’t respect the actors. Respect has actually come down [in the industry]. I have got up for some people to sit down [at Super OD’s funeral]. What I came to see in the movie industry isn’t like that anymore…,” she told Adom TV’s Sister Sandy.
