Heaven and Hell Revelator, evangelist Lawrence Amofah, has cautioned Christians in Ghana to be very cautious about how much time they spend on their mobile phones.
Sharing his encounter with the congregants of Christ Stands Ministry at Teshie Teibibiano in Accra on Thursday evening during the church’s fifth homecoming anniversary celebration on the theme ‘Preparing the Bride for Christ’s Return’, he said mobile phone was invented to rob and entice Christians to shun their Bibles.
According to him, today’s modern Christians spend more time on their mobile phones more than than their Bibles and for prayer.
The evangelist, who had the privilege through God to be shown Heaven and Hell in February 2018, said it was revealed to him that phones are made from under the sea where Satan and his cohorts rule.
He said there is a school under the sea called school of wisdom where the electronic products are made from.
“Most Christians have become addictive to their phones instead of the Bible. When they wake up from bed instead of having their quite time with the Bible they rather look for their phones to engage in long talks,” he told the congregants.
He, therefore, urged believing Christians who want to make it to heaven to be very vigilant and careful and should kill their appetite for phones.
According to him, “you can use it but don’t let it rule your soul and also overcome the appetite for phones so one can have time for God.“
The servant of God advised Christians not to be blinded and allow themselves to be tools for the devil.
A deaconess of the church, Mrs Stella Mensah Edwah, also shared her views on what the evangelist had said and endorsed it.
According to her, most of the youth are using phones for the wrong reasons though “we can make good use of them by using them to propagate the gospel to win souls for the Lord Jesus Christ.”
