Claim: NDC members lock up National Organiser Joseph Yamin in Ashanti Region

Verdict: Misleading!
Explanation: A violent incident was recorded on December 6, 2024, when the NDC national organiser was addressing a press conference in Kumasi. Footage reviewed by the Ghana Fact-Checking Coalition showed a man angrily addressing the executives, knocking off microphones from the table (here, here, here). However, the video captions suggesting that Yamin was locked up by the aggrieved party supporters are false because the national officer was seated while the supporters who said they had no issues with any party member explained the reason for their action.
