The Minority Caucus in Parliament on Friday protested against government business over the unresolved collation of the Ablekuma North Parliamentary elections.
The Minority noted that the former Majority Leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, had assured the House of a resolution last week.
However, nothing has been done, and the constituency still lacks representation following the inauguration of the ninth Parliament on January 6.
The Majority Leader, Mahama Ayariga, was reading the business statement on the floor when the caucus registered their dissatisfaction.
They chanted, “No Ablekuma North, no government business,” and “Ablekuma North deserves a voice,” among others.
All attempts by the Speaker to restore calm for the proceedings to continue proved futile, leading to a temporary suspension.
