The Western North Regional Minister, Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu, has accused his deputy, Alex Tetteh of undermining his authority and sabotaging him.
The accusation comes barely four months after they both assumed office.
In a letter to the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Hajia Alima Mahama, dated June 11, 2019, the regional minister made several allegations to prove his case against his deputy, who, he said convened a regional security council meeting without his knowledge, issued security orders to counter his own orders and connived with a chief to change the site for a Regional Coordinating Council office among others.

Mr Gyedu said he is convinced the actions of his deputy have been strategically planned to undermine him and to make him look bad, ineffective, inefficient, incompetent and unpopular in order to get him sacked so he could become the regional minister.
