Minister calls for unity among Nasara NPP wing ahead of 2020 polls

 Minister for Communication, Ursula Owusu -Ekuful has appealed to the Narasa wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Damongo to stop petty quarrels and disagreement among themselves and unite for victory in the 2020 polls.

 Addressing a Mini  rally  in Damongo in the Savannah Region, Madam Ursula  stated the NPP campaign strategy is local based with National and global reach and would need support from the grassroots.

She added there was the need for the grassroots to sell the success of the government flagship programs to earn the party a second term in office.

The Minister also appealed to all the Zongo communities to rally behind the party ahead of the elections.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief of Staff, Abu Jinapor reiterated the need for unity among the people.

He called on all to stick together and work for victory for both the president and the seven parliamentary seats in the Savannah Region.

The Deputy National Nasara coordinator of the NPP, Hajia Ayishetu Yusiff also lauded the Narasa wing for its efforts in rallying the people of the Zongo communities.

According to her, the wing which has come to stay has become a threat to the National Democratic Congress.

She added that gone are the days when their opponent would mock the NPP because it did not have a grassroots appeal.

 Hajia Ayishetu Yussiff maintained that the introduction of numerous interventions including the creation of the zongo and inner city Ministry and the restoration of the Islamic Instructors in basic schools among others are evident for all to see.
