Personnel from the Ghana Armed Forces successfully foiled an attempted takeover of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) headquarters on Tuesday, December 10.
The incident, captured on video and widely circulated on social media, shows an unidentified group attempting to breach the gates of the GPHA headquarters.
Witnesses reported that the crowd, converged at the entrance early in the day, displaying aggressive behaviour as they tried to force their way onto the premises.
Swift intervention by military personnel stationed at the site prevented the group from gaining access.
The situation was brought under control without any reported injuries or major property damage.
