Gospel artiste, Obaapa Gyamfua, says the recent assault perpetrated on a nursing mother at Midland Savings and Loans by a policeman was an act ordained by God.

According to Obaapa Gyamfua, although the incident has attracted a lot of backlashes, people shouldn’t be too quick to judge the policeman.

“Her beating was a blessing in disguise. When God wants to bless you, he has his way of doing it”, she explained.

Reports say cash donations amounting to over GH₵ 40,000, as well as foodstuff and clothing have been pouring in for Patience Sarfo since her ordeal at the hands of the police officer.

Lance Corporal Godzi Frederick Amanor assaulted the 36-year-old customer in the banking hall over a misunderstanding when she went to withdraw her savings.

But Obaapa Gyamfua asserts that her ordeals happened for good.
