The chief of Kunsu in the Ashanti region, Nana Agyeman Badu Duah I, has made a significant contribution to the Kunsu Health Center in the Ahafo Ano South-West District.

The donation, valued at ¢320,000 aims to enhance healthcare delivery in Kunsu and its neighbouring communities.

The donated items include 12 massaging hospital beds, 15 mattresses, three 55-inch LED television sets, five tabletop fridges, and 12 infusion stands.

This generous donation is part of Nana Agyeman Badu Duah I’s commitment to ensuring access to quality healthcare for his people.

In a heartfelt speech, the chief shared his personal motivation behind the donation.

“When my wife, Mercy, was admitted, I realized the turmoil the hospital faces. It was pathetic. When I saw the beds and frail mattresses, I was saddened at heart. The drip stand collapsed in my presence, affecting the patient,” he recounted.

As Kunsuhene, I cannot sit idle and watch things fall into disarray. If we could elevate the CHPS center to a health center, I believe it is still my responsibility to elevate it further.”

Nana Agyeman Badu Duah I emphasized that, this donation is just one part of his broader plan to ensure that the people of Kunsu and surrounding areas have access to the best possible healthcare services.

The donation has been met with gratitude and relief from the staff and patients of the Kunsu Health Center, who have long struggled with inadequate facilities and equipment.

The community looks forward to the positive changes that this donation will bring, and they commend Nana Agyeman Badu Duah I and his wife, Mercy Asiedu, for their continued support and dedication to the welfare of Kunsu and its people.
