Medeama SC mutually part ways with head coach, Nebojsa Kapor

-

Medeama SC have officially announced their decision to part ways with head coach, Nebojsa Kapor by mutual consent.

The decision follows Medeama’s 3-2 loss to Vision FC on Saturday during Matchday 13 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

Kapor, who signed a one-year deal in December 2023, departs after the two parties failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension.

“Both parties failed to reach an agreement on contract renewal,” the club revealed in a statement.

The club also expressed gratitude to the Bosnian coach for his efforts and extended their best wishes for his future endeavours.

Kapor’s exit comes amid a challenging campaign for Medeama SC. Despite being early favourites for the Ghana Premier League title, the team has struggled for consistency.

After 13 games, the Yellow and Mauves are three points behind the league leaders, with 21 points accumulated from six wins, three draws, and four losses.

In the interim, Technical Director Augustine Evans Adotey will oversee the team until a permanent replacement is appointed.
