Asante Kotoko coach, Maxwell Konadu has showered praises on his players following their win over Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
The Porcupine Warriors got back to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League with a 1-0 win against ten-man Dreams FC.
The Porcupine Warriors had gone winless for two matches after beating Hearts of Oak 2-1 in Accra.
Defender Bashiru Abdul connected the ball into his own net as he tried to clear a dangerous free kick in the 68th minute.
“It was a keenly contested game,” he told Asempa FM.
“Dreams were promising in the first half but we neutralize them in the second half. My players kept on pushing and we had the needed win.
“It was a 50-50 game in the second half until the red car incursion but we are happy with the three points,” he added.
Kotoko are occupying the 4th position with 17 points.
