Hearts of Oak legend, Charles Taylor has slammed the current head coach of the side, Martin Koopman, saying he is not good enough to steer the side.
Under the Dutch trainer, the Phobians have recorded just a win in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, with Ramos Kashala scoring the only goal for the club against Nsoatreman FC.
Following their goalless drawn game against FC Samartex 1996 over the weekend, Koopman, who was appointed prior to the start of the campaign has come under intense pressure with some sections of the fans demanding his sack.
However, Taylor says the coach is not good enough to lead the current team to clinch the Premier League.
“I can win the Ghana Premier League with the current Hearts of Oak players. I can tell you for a fact, that the white man (Martin Koopman) is not a coach,” he told Angel TV.
Hearts of Oak sit 16th on the summit with five points and will hope to return to winning ways when they head to DUN’s Park in the matchday seven games this weekend to play Bibiani Gold Stars.
