According to Bernard Allotey Jacobs, the continuous complaints by Mr Amidu regarding investigations on the ‘Galamsey Fraud’ expose’ by Anas Aremeyaw Anas “expose his weakness.”

His comment followed another epistle from the Special Prosecutor. This time his complaint was that heads of State institutions were deliberately impeding the mandate of his office.
Mr Amidu alleged that some heads of institutions refuse to comply with laws designed to ensure good governance and to protect the national purse.

But, speaking on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme, Tuesday, Mr Jacobs said the Special Prosecutor has disappointed everyone.
“Martin Amidu’s complaints are much ado about nothing. He has exposed his weakness,” he fumed.
He explained that, Mr Amidu’s appointment came with high expectations with the hope that his office would be the most efficient vehicle for fighting corruption in Ghana.
