Gospel singer Grace Osei, formerly known as Irene Logan, has found a new source of joy and fulfilment following her marriage to Prince Osei earlier this year.
The couple exchanged vows on April 19, 2024, at The Lord’s Garden Ministries, La Trade Fair, Accra, in what Grace describes as the best decision of her life.
Reflecting on her new chapter, Grace shared in an exclusive interview on October 7 that marriage has been a transformative experience, giving her a renewed sense of purpose.
“Getting married has been such a blessing. God blessed me with a very supportive husband who invests in me emotionally, financially, and spiritually,” she expressed.
“Having a partner who is on your side makes everything easier. I feel protected, loved, and I’m able to create in a more relaxed headspace.”
Since tying the knot, Grace has embraced her role not only as a wife but also as a minister of the gospel, having transitioned from a career in secular music to full-time gospel ministry.
She explained that the shift to gospel was a natural progression, driven by her long-held desire to spread the gospel message.
“It wasn’t difficult for me at all. I’ve always felt the call to share God’s word, so stepping fully into gospel was like coming home,” she noted.
The singer also highlighted the importance of balancing her thriving music career with her personal life.
According to her, clear communication and mutual respect have been key factors in maintaining harmony.
“Love and career are not difficult to balance at all. Once you understand your role in both, everything falls into place,” Grace said, adding that she and her husband often minister together, combining their talents to spread the message of Christ.
As a couple deeply rooted in their faith, Grace and Prince Osei rely on good communication, patience, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to navigate their journey.
“Christ is our foundation,” she emphasized, noting that her husband’s role as a teacher of the word of God complements her ministry as a gospel singer.
