Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Braimah Akambi has described the Chief Executive Officer, Mark David Noonan as the happiest man in the club contrary to information of him having a hard time in the club hence his decision to return to the United States.
According to Alhaji Braimah, all information contrary to this must be disregarded because Mr Noonan travelled to the States to attend to events other than him leaving the club.
A statement signed by the club stated Mark Noonan travelled to deal with family issues as well as attend meetings for sponsorships and some connections for the club as well which they believe will be beneficial for the club.
“Whoever says he [Mark Noonan] left because he is having issues with the club, I have not heard something like that from anywhere. I can tell you on authority that he is the happiest man in the club” he emphasized.
“I just don’t really understand the way people imagine and frame stories out of nothing. Even when Noonan arrived, it got to a point where people said Togbe Afede has given part of his shares in the club to him which is unbelievable.” He added.
