Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is not concerned about complacency despite his side holding a two-goal lead for the second leg of their Conference League qualifying play-off in Switzerland against Servette.

The Blues won the first-leg tie 2-0 at Stamford Bridge courtesy of goals from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke.

But Maresca said his players know they still have to finish the job to make the group phase.

“It will be a tough game, I don’t have any doubts,” he added. “I don’t think complacency will be an issue after just one or two wins in a row. We need to be ready and motivated 100%, for sure. The target is to try to get a good result and go forward to the group.

“Games you win at home and think it is almost done, but it’s not like this. Especially not on this pitch, in this environment. So we need to be absolutely ready.”

Team news – James and Lavia to miss out

Chelsea will be without midfielder Romeo Lavia and full-back Reece James after they failed to recover with knocks that kept them out of the 6-2 Premier League win at Wolves on Sunday.

Defender Malo Gusto and winger Pedro Neto will also not feature in Switzerland.

Servette are seventh out of 12 teams in the Swiss Super League, with three wins and two defeats from their five league matches.
