A middle aged man is fighting to save his manhood at the Wenchi Methodist hospital in the Bono East region after a scuffle with Community Police assistants.
Doctors are predicting a 50/50 chance as the damage can lead to erectile dysfunction and other complications.

The victim, Larri Taesar Damjet is said to have resisted arrest when his pregnant girlfriend whose name was given as Agatha reported him to the police for neglecting her.
Techiman-based Gaskiya FM reporter, Agya Tawiah who followed the story said the victim had refused to take responsibility for the pregnancy after giving her money to abort it.
He said the lady felt cheated and reported the matter to the police.

When the police stormed Caesar’s house at New Techiman, a suburb of Tanoso, Agya Tawiah said the young man resisted arrest so one of the officers allegedly grabbed his manhood, yanked at the skin and it sliced down the shaft.
The unintentional slapdash conduct of the police, he noted has left the manhood bloody and vulnerable to infection.

The two police officers, he added rushed the young man to the hospital for medical attention.
Agya Tawiah said doctors at the Wenchi Methodist hospital are trying their best to save Caesar.
