Police in the Central region have arrested one more person in connection with the shooting incident during the ‘outdooring’ of a Paramount Queenmother at Mankessim over the weekend.
This brings the number to six suspects assisting the police in investigations into the bloody clashes during the ceremony to unveil Nana Araba Otua II.

Central Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Oppong, who confirmed this to Adom News Monday, said the suspect was picked up in his hideout.
She added that the police are still on a manhunt to apprehend anyone connected to the incident.

DSP Oppong said Police Inspector William Nyarko, who sustained injuries, has been discharged together with two others.

Though the police are still investigating, DSP Oppong appealed to residents to assist the police bring closure to the matter.
