Manka: Sister Derby addresses Fella Makafui and Medikal’s split in latest single

-

Singer Sister Derby has released a new track titled Manka, featuring rapper Pappy Kojo.

The song appears to address the recent split between actress Fella Makafui and her husband, rapper Medikal, who is also Sister Derby’s former partner.

In the lyrics, Sister Derby makes a reference to her previous song Sweet Ex, released four years ago, where she hinted at issues between Medikal and Fella.

The new track seems to reaffirm her past remarks, with lyrics that say, “I said it in Sweet Ex, so please don’t come and beat me. Hmm… it’s Sister Derby, always with the tea.”

Sweet Ex, which has accumulated nearly 200,000 views, was released shortly after Sister Derby’s breakup with Medikal, and was widely seen as a message to Fella Makafui, who later became Medikal’s partner.

In the earlier song, Sister Derby accused Medikal of changing Fella’s name on his phone while they were dating, sparking speculation about the nature of their relationship.

The new release also features Pappy Kojo taking a swipe at Keche, questioning why the popular duo, despite being hitmakers, are asking for support from rising star King Paluta to promote a song they collaborated on.
