The management of Angel Group of Companies, manufacturers of Adonko Bitters has debunked media reports suggesting that patrons of the bitters fell unconscious after drinking.
Whilst it admits that about 10 people may have been drunk and slept off during the Adonko Aseda Bash held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the management insists the bitters has no product defect.
“The company encourages responsible consumption of alcohol as per Ghana’s laws; the company does not sell to minors,” a statement issued by the company said.
The statement is in reaction to media reports alleging that people “passed out” during the Adonko Aseda Bash.
The company says its core values is to promote responsible corporate citizenship and ethical standards in its operations
