Gideon Dogbatse a Customer Care Provider has been sentenced to pay a fine and compensation of GH¢1,708 cedis for throwing a stone at his neighbour during a misunderstanding.
The court ordered Dogbatse to pay a fine of GH¢1,200 in default serve three months jail term.
Additionally Dogbatse was to refund complainant’s medical bill of GH¢108 cedis and compensation of GH¢400 cedis.

Dogbatse charged with causing harm, had pleaded guilty before the court on August 2.
He pleaded with the court to forgive him because he would not repeat that conduct again.
According to Dogbatse, he and some elders and pastors had attempted to plead with the complainant Godwin Tordzoe.
Dogbatse said the complainant had declined to answer his calls.

“I have never been to the Police station if not of this matter,” he said.
The court presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku remanded Dogbatse to reappear on August 3, this year for sentencing because the complainant could not produce his medical bills in court yesterday.
When the complainant produced his medical bills the court handed down Dogbatse’s sentence.
The prosecution said on June 27, this year at about 8:00 pm, a misunderstanding ensued between Dogbatse and Mr Tordzoe at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Nurses Quarters.
Prosecution said the misunderstanding resulted in a fight and the two were separated.

On June 28, this year at 5:30 am, the complainant was washing his car whilst Dogbatse was also brushing his teeth along the road at the Nurses Quarters in Korle-Bu.
According to prosecution without any provocation, the convict picked up a stone and threw at Mr Todzoe’s forehead. Mr Tordzoe sustained injury.
The complainant was rushed to the hospital and later reported the matter to the Police.
