The family of a 72-year-old who was murdered last Saturday by unknown assailants while returning from farm is demanding a thorough investigation from the Police to bring the perpetrators to justice.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown.
But the tragic incident has raised serious concerns about safety in the Nkwanta South Municipality, prompting residents to call on law enforcement to ensure lasting peace.
The deceased, Agodzi Adisi, was attacked by unknown assailants on a secluded path he frequently use while returning from his farm.
He was laid to rest on Friday, October 25, 2024, in accordance with Islamic custom.
Speaking to Adom News, the bereaved family described him as a hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for them and contributing to the community.
The family members have expressed their frustration with the current insecurity in the area, urging authorities to take immediate action to prevent further tragedies.
As Police probe the issue, the family remains hopeful that justice will be served.
They also urged anyone with information about the crime to come forward, emphasizing that no one should have to endure the pain of losing a loved one in such a violent manner.
