-

National Executive Committee (NEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has cleared about 106 aspirants to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries slated for June 20, 2020.

Among the candidates is the Majority leader and Member of Parliament for Suame, Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonu who is going unopposed.

This was contained in a statement signed by Ashanti Regional Secretary, Sam Pyne.

The candidates were approved after 10 days of thorough vetting of all the aspiring parliamentary candidates in Ashanti Region.
