The Ghana Water Limited (GWL) in the Eastern Region, has announced an interruption in potable water supply to the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality and surrounding areas.
According to a statement from the management, the disruption will last from Thursday, January 2, 2025, to Thursday, January 9, 2025.
This interruption is necessary to facilitate major maintenance works at the water treatment plant, aimed at improving water supply to the affected areas.
Residents have been advised to store sufficient water for use during and beyond the maintenance period.
The Management also apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured customers of their commitment to enhancing service delivery.

INTERRUPTION IN SUPPLY OF POTABLE WATER AT NSAWAM-ADOAGYIR MUNICIPALITY
THE MANAGEMENT OF GHANA WATER LIMITED (GWL), EASTERN REGION WISHES TO INFORM ITS VALUED CUSTOMERS IN THE NSAWAM – ADOAGYIRI MUNICIPALITY AND IT’S ENVIRONS THAT THERE WILL BE INTERRUPTION IN SUPPLY OF POTABLE WATER FROM THURSDAY 2ND JANUARY 2025 TO THURSDAY 9th January 2025. THIS IS TO ENABLE THE REGIONAL MANAGEMENT CARRY OUT A MAJOR MAINTENANCE WORKS AT THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT TO IMPROVE SUPPLY TO AFFECTED AREAS.
PLEASE KINDLY STORE ENOUGH WATER FOR USE DURING THE PERIOD AND BEYOND.
THE INCONVENIENCE TO BE CAUSED IS VERY MUCH REGRETTED.
