His comment comes after poultry farmers across the country complained about the shortage of maize in the country.
The price of maize due to the shortage, according to them, is making it difficult to feed hungry birds.
“When your maize finishes, all your birds will die,” said the Chairman of the Brong Ahafo Regional Poultry Farms Association.

But reacting to the issue on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem Friday, Hon. George Oduro said increasing prices of maize is not a sign of shortage in supply.

He stated that licensed maize buying companies have bought off the staple for poultry and will soon sell it to persons in need of the commodity.
