President John Dramani Mahama has been urged to ensure continuity in governance by completing all unfinished projects initiated by the previous government.
The call was made during the inauguration of new executives of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) in Obuasi.
Speaking to Adom News, Chairman of the GPCC Obuasi branch, Rev. Nicholas Nyarko, stressed the need to sustain development projects for national progress.
He noted that GPCC’s membership in the Obuasi West and East Municipalities exceeds 200 and is committed to both spiritual and physical growth while continuing the vision of the council’s previous leadership.
Rev. Nyarko also highlighted GPCC’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, citing past initiatives such as clean-up campaigns, donations to orphanages, and furniture support for schools.
He urged the president to adopt a similar approach by completing all government-funded projects, as they ultimately benefit the nation.
Meanwhile, APS. Dr. Bright Sosu, GPCC Ashanti Regional Chairman, emphasized the church’s role in national development, stating that it should serve as “salt” in society and contribute meaningfully to progress.
He encouraged other churches to incorporate development initiatives into their missions to improve the communities in which they operate.
