Mahama set to host two youth events on International Youth Day

-

The Mahama 2024 campaign has unveiled a lineup of youth-centred activities, spearheaded by flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, set to take place on Monday, August 12 to celebrate International Youth Day.

These events highlight Mr. Mahama’s commitment to addressing the concerns and aspirations of young people.

According to a statement from his campaign team, the day will kick off with the launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Manifesto at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

This manifesto will outline Mr. Mahama’s strategies and pledges to empower the youth and address the critical challenges they face.

In the evening, he will engage with young people at a special Mahama Youth Town Hall Meeting at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

This event will offer a platform for the youth to interact with Mahama and discuss his policies, particularly those focused on reducing youth unemployment and promoting education, skills development, and entrepreneurship.

The statement, signed by his aide Joyce Bawah Mogtari, emphasized that these initiatives are part of Mahama’s broader vision of “Building the Ghana we want together.”

The campaign underscores his belief in empowering the youth and creating pathways for their success.
