President-elect John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his dedication to fostering a brighter and more prosperous future for Ghana’s youth and vulnerable groups, both within the country and beyond its borders.
In a Facebook post on December 24, Mahama shared insights from his recent engagements with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Gabon.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening ties with Ghana’s neighbors and partners in West Africa and across the African continent.
“I just wrapped up an incredible visit with the Presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and Gabon as part of my commitment to fostering strong relationships with our geographical neighbors and friends in West Africa and on the continent,” Mahama noted.
He highlighted that the discussions with his counterparts revolved around shared values and aspirations for progress, focusing on opportunities for collaboration in trade, security, and sustainable development.
He stressed that these partnerships aim to bring tangible benefits to the citizens of the respective nations.
“I will continue to work both within and outside our subregion towards a brighter, more prosperous future for our youth and the vulnerable,” Mahama assured.
