Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has once again dared former President John Dramani Mahama to face him in a debate and exchange ideas and visions before the Ghanaian people.
Dr. Bawumia made this call during a stakeholders’ engagement in Tema as part of his tour of the three Tema constituencies in the Greater Accra Region.
According to him, the NPP has performed better in every sector, and there is data to back those performances.
“We have the facts, the data, and the track record to show that the NPP has delivered on its promises in every sector,” Dr. Bawumia said.
He added that, former President Mahama is clearly “out of touch with the data,” which explains why he avoids debating him.
Dr. Bawumia indicated that, Mahama can only “make noise on political platforms where he knows no one will question him on what he says, “emphasizing that a debate “backed by facts and data” would enable Ghanaians to see who has truly performed better between the two.
