Mahama leading NDC astray – Effah-Dartey (Audio)

Private legal practitioner, Capt Rtd. Nkrabea Effah-Dartey is urging youthful National Democratic Congress (NDC) members who aspire to be flagbearer aspirants in the party to start building networks.

To him, John Mahama as the flagbearer of the NDC will only lead the party astray and to another embarrassing electoral defeat in 2020.

He noted that the danger the NDC has failed to realise is its determination to build the party around Mr Mahama who is seen as a ‘demi-god’ by some of the party faithful.

Capt Effah-Dartey believes there will be a time the younger generation would want to see a change in government, therefore it was time for the youth in the party to take over because former President Mahama, who happens to be the flagbearer of the party, will only lead them astray.

“Whether we like it or not, New Patriotic Party can never be in power forever. Just after two or three terms, Ghanaians would be fed up with us. The younger generation will want to see a change from NPP to NDC,” he stated on Accra based Okay FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.

“If there is any NDC person who wants to be President of Ghana, he should start building his network. He should visit communities and play active role in NDC and be identified as a nationalist. John Mahama is not the right person to bring the NDC back to power,” he said.
