Campaign Manager for John Dramani Mahama during the December 7 general elections, Joshua Alabi, has hailed the decisive victory of Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a turning point that reflects the aspirations of Ghanaians.
Speaking in an interview with Accra based TV3, Mr Alabi emphasized that the electorate’s overwhelming choice signals their confidence in Mahama’s leadership and his vision for sustainable growth and prosperity in Ghana.
According to him, Mahama’s extensive experience, combined with his time out of office, has equipped him with a unique perspective to address the nation’s challenges and opportunities effectively.
“Mahama is very focused and knows exactly what he wants to achieve. Having been in office, stepped out, and now returning, he has conducted a thorough appraisal of both his performance and the policies of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). This has enabled him to clearly define his strategy moving forward,” he said.
He further described Mahama as a leader poised to exceed his previous performance.
“I see a leader who will not only be better than he was but also one who will set a strong foundation for the nation’s future. While he may not solve every problem, his ability to carry the people along and provide a clear sense of direction will inspire collective progress” he stated.
Mr Alabi added that Mahama’s return is more than a political milestone.
He believes it is a reaffirmation of his dedication to addressing Ghana’s pressing challenges and driving transformative leadership.
