Mahama failed to deliver 72% of 2012 campaign promises – Bawumia

-

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has accused former President John Dramani Mahama of failing to deliver on his 2012 manifesto promises, achieving a mere 28% out of 280 campaign promises.

In stark contrast, the NPP flagbearer proudly claims that the Akufo-Addo, Bawumia government has successfully delivered at least 83% of their campaign promises.

Dr. Bawumia threw down the gauntlet, challenging former President Mahama to a debate on the data, emphasizing that Mahama can not make false claims when faced with facts in a face-to-face encounter.

He spoke at a Youth Connect event in Akropong.

Addressing a massive rally after the Ofie Health Walk from Mampong, Dr. Bawumia appealed to Ghanaians to support him in his quest to take Ghana to the next level of digital transformation, emphasizing that digitization can significantly accelerate the country’s development agenda.

The NPP parliamentary candidate for Akuapem North, Sammi Awuku, also highlighted the NPP government’s effective social intervention and economic policies, many of which he says were initiated under former President Kufuor’s regime and continue to benefit Ghanaians today.

The event attracted thousands of enthusiastic party supporters, including national executives, regional and constituency representatives, and music industry personalities, all united in their quest for a digitally transformed Ghana.
