Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has affirmed that President John Dramani Mahama is committed to delivering lasting transformational change during his current term in office.
In a Facebook post on Monday, April 28, Dr. Boamah expressed strong confidence in President Mahama’s vision to build a resilient legacy for Ghana’s future.
Highlighting key activities scheduled for the week, he announced that the President would launch two major initiatives aimed at empowering the youth and supporting small businesses.
“This week, President John Dramani Mahama will launch two significant programmes: Adwumawura, targeting 10,000 young business owners, today, Monday, 28th April 2025; and the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP), which will train tens of thousands of youth in various artisanal skills, on Wednesday, 30th April 2025,” he stated.
The Adwumawura initiative is designed to provide critical support for young entrepreneurs, helping them grow their businesses and contribute to national economic development.
Meanwhile, the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) will offer practical skills training across various trades, boosting youth employability and promoting self-reliance.
Dr. Boamah emphasized that these initiatives reflect President Mahama’s clear commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive economy for all Ghanaians.
