Actor John Dumelo is urging residents at the Ayawaso West Wougon to look at their present situation and vote massively for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the by-election Thursday.
According to him, having lived in the constituency for years, he is yet to see any development undertaken by the NPP.

“The NPP has taken us for a ride so we must show them the exit. Look at your present situation and vote” he told residents during an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday.
Ahead of the crucial by-election Thursday, January 31, 2019, the NPP is hoping to retain the seat following the unfortunate demise of their MP, Emmanuel Kyerematen Agyarko.
But the NDC which has fought for the seat over the years believes it is time to take over.

In support, John Dumelo called for a new paradigm shift in the voting pattern of the constituency for massive development under the leadership of Mr Delali Brempong.
He claimed that NPP seeing defeat staring them in the face was now buying votes in the constituency just to win the by-election.
The actor scoffed at the NPP’s description of their candidate; Lydia Alhassan as the perfect replacement because according to him, she was an “imperfect replacement”.
