The Founder of Philadelphia Church of Ghana, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, delivered powerful prayers seeking God’s favor for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the upcoming elections.
Dr. Bawumia, who was in the Ashanti Region to conclude his campaign tour, visited the church in Kumasi on Sunday, accompanied by his running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, and other prominent NPP party members.
The congregation gave the Vice President a warm and enthusiastic welcome as Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah led a lengthy intercessory prayer for Dr. Bawumia’s success in the elections.
Before beginning the prayer session, the pastor shared a touching story about how Dr. Bawumia had supported him during his father’s funeral by sending a busload of items.
Having praised Dr. Bawumia’s remarkable character, Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah invoked God’s sovereignty, saying, “Lord, it is you who installs kings and we plead for your favors on your servant.”
He repeated this prayer throughout the session, calling for divine intervention in Dr. Bawumia’s campaign.
The pastor continued to pray, glorifying God and asking for Dr. Bawumia’s election as President to become a reality on December 7.
