He underscored the need for collaboration within the Ministry to ensure that public institutions remain independent and serve the people, rather than becoming political offices.
The Minister called on civil servants to remain committed to the principles of professionalism, urging them to rise above partisan politics in their service to the country.
Mr. Ibrahim tasked the Head of the Local Government Service with conducting a headcount of all staff across the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs).
He noted that this exercise would be crucial in fostering efficiency and ensuring that resources and personnel are optimally allocated to serve the public.
