Deputy Minister of Energy in charge of Power, William Owuraku Aidoo, has hit hard at the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for claiming it has evidence of contradicting names of shareholders of Power Distribution Services.
According to him, the document is not a confidential document as has been purported by the opposition party.
To him, the NDC is only playing mischief or has decided to throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians.

“It is either the NDC has not read the document well and is behaving ignorantly or just wants to do propaganda and throw dust into our eyes. This document is not secret, it is an open document. They just don’t understand how such things operate,” he told Accra based Okay FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.

He said the new company is a subsidiary company of Meralco Consortium and therefore sees nothing wrong with the transaction.
