New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Adentan constituency, Yaw Buaben Asamoah, is the first to give his idea to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as it compiles its manifesto.

It follows the party’s request for Policy Memoranda from the general public to develop a ‘Grassroots Manifesto’.
This, according to the NDC, is driven by the “need to give meaning to our Social Democratic principles of inclusivity and mass participation in the pursuit of growth and development of our country.”

But, Mr Asamoah on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Monday described the move as “ridiculous.”
He noted that, the NDC requesting ideas from the public for its manifesto is an attestation that it has nothing good to offer Ghanaians.

“The NDC calling on the public for ideas is incompetence of the highest order even in opposition,” he added.
The Adentan MP, who is also the Communications Director for NPP, suggested the NDC constructs the road in front of his house should it come to power in future.
