Four people have been reported dead with several others in critical conditions in a gory accident at Kintampo in the Bono region.
The accident occurred around 3: am on Friday when a sprinter bus run into a spoilt trailer truck at the Kintampo Police barrier near the Abofuor forest.

Narrating the incident on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem Friday, Florence Marfo, a VIP bus driver, who helped rescue some passengers on board, said the truck had been on the road for almost two months.
“While heading towards the police barrier, I saw the head of a trailer carrying iron rods had cut off with someone on the truck signaling in-coming vehicles with a torch.

“I offered to help them rescue the people trapped in the vehicle and I saw the driver of the Sprinter had been trapped by the steering wheel while he stood in the car. Two others were dead behind his seat and another two at the front seat,” she narrated.
