Let’s make history by making a woman the Vice President – Mahama charges Ghanaians

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, says Ghanaians must embrace and support his agenda of getting Ghana its first female Vice President.

According to him, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang holds an enviable leadership skills that align with his goal of improving the livelihoods of Ghanaians.

Mr. Mahama was addressing chiefs and the people of Tongo, a suburb of Talensi, as part of his tour in the Upper East Region.

He stated that, the current state of the country demands that a woman be part of decision-making, which he believes will help improve the livelihoods of women and children.

John Mahama is optimistic that the December polls will be favourable to the NDC to enable this historic achievement.

He added that, his running mate will be very influential in the next NDC government and will serve as a motivation for women’s empowerment.
