The highly anticipated Lenox Bar and Restaurant officially opened its doors on September 21, 2024, at the Atlantic Towers, Airport City, Accra, blending Harlem’s iconic cultural legacy with Accra’s vibrant spirit.

The grand opening was nothing short of spectacular, with a star-studded guest list, lively music, and an ambiance that sets a new standard for dining and nightlife in Ghana.

Headlining the entertainment for the evening was Andy Dosty, one of Ghana’s most celebrated radio personalities and DJs.

He set the tone with a high-energy jam session that got the crowd moving from the early evening well into the night. Andy’s infectious energy on the turntables kept guests entertained, marking the event as a memorable kick-off for this upscale venue.

The Lenox Bar’s grand opening attracted some of the biggest names in Ghanaian entertainment and media.

Among the notable attendees were Black Boy, Papa Bills of Adom FM, and Grace Afanyi Owusu Arhin, the 2nd runner-up of Ghana’s Most Beautiful.

These celebrities, along with several industry leaders, graced the occasion, adding a touch of glamour to the launch.

At the heart of this new venture is Nana Kwame Asiedu Agyemfra Biney, the visionary CEO who has brought a piece of Harlem to Accra. With roots in West London and formative years spent in Ghana, Nana Kwame’s journey across continents is embodied in the creation of The Lenox Bar and Restaurant.

Drawing inspiration from his years in Harlem, where he lived after moving to the United States at age 11, Nana Kwame envisioned creating a cultural bridge between Harlem and Accra.

“Harlem and Accra share a deep historical connection through figures like Kwame Nkrumah and Marcus Garvey. The Lenox is a celebration of this shared heritage,” he explained.

“We wanted to transcend the traditional sports bar concept by creating an immersive experience with great food and impeccable service,” Nana Kwame shared. The menu features a fusion of Continental dishes with Ghanaian twists, catering to a diverse clientele.

One of the standout features of The Lenox is its commitment to exceptional hospitality.

As the grand opening marked the official debut of The Lenox Bar, Nana Kwame reflected on his journey and vision.

“Bringing together the best of Harlem and Accra into The Lenox has been a long-held dream. I believe that with dedication and a commitment to excellence, we can create something truly special here in Ghana,” he expressed.
