The Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku constituency, Dr. Okoe Boye, has supported the More Hope for Disabled Foundation with a bus worth Ghc60,000 to aid their movement to and from.
The presentation of the bus coincided with the launch of Dr Okoe Boye Skills Support Programme.
Charted Accountant Clifford M. Kortey schooled the gathering on the topic managing small businesses where constituents were advised to pay attention to their businesses so as to make them self-reliant.
The MP presented items such as; cars, tricycles, barbering machines among others which will be paid with no interest within a certain time frame.
The Member of Parliament for area explained that the aim to support people who are into business but cannot afford to buy the necessary equipment needed to expand their businesses.
Dr. Okoe Boye emphasizes that if the constituents are financially sound, he as an MP will also have peace so as to concentrate on the mandate given him for smooth execution.
It will be recalled that the Ledzokuku MP launched Zero-interest rate last year where some people were given a loan without any interest.
The acting Chief Executive Officer of More Hope for Disabled Foundation, Joseph Odey Mensah, who received that bus on behalf of members commended the MP for the support and tells Adom News this will give them the necessary financial support to get more persons living with disabilities of the street of Ledzokuku constituency.
Some beneficiaries who benefited from interest-free vehicles and tricycles expressed gratitude to the MP and promised not to disappoint him by repaying the money regularly so that he can assist others too.
